Santa’s Early Visit dedicated to Brunhilde
………………………………………………………..
T’was just 4 days before Christmas
Wherrol Flat gained some fame
As Santa and the Christmas elves
Played their Piglet name game
…………………………………………………………
Brunhilde the Sow reached her birthing prime time
So the elves got together to make her a rhyme
13 new little piglets arrived rather early
Lot of squealing and grunting and tails that were curly
……………………………………………………………..
First came Choppy and Choplette,
Then Piggy and Swine.
Next were Hammy and Hamlette – she was doing just fine.
Then Knuckles and Porkribs; Pancetta and Rasher
Arrived on the straw like a Christmas ham platter
……………………………………………………………..
Suckling and Crackling then made their appearance
It was all going well without much interference,
Then last of the lot came Bacon the baby
And Brunhilde the sow was one happy lady!
